Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Upon check-out, close and lock all windows and doors.
  • At check-out, place all linens and towels in the laundry room basket, and start one load of laundry. Housekeeping will finish from there.

Property Access

  • No mountain gear in the house (skis, snowboards, tubing, hiking gear, fishing gear, etc.). There is room for that gear on the back porch outside the mud/laundry room.

Policies and Rules

  • NO PETS. Bringing an unregistered pet will incur a $1500.00 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee, and you can also be held liable for any damage the pet causes. This includes but is not limited to urine cleanup that causes damage to wood floors. This is a ZERO tolerance rule and will be strictly enforced.
  • NO SMOKING or VAPING in the house. Smoking or vaping in the house will be charged a $1500.00 hazard/cleaning fee. This is a ZERO tolerance rule and will be strictly enforced.
  • No parties or loud activities. Loud is defined as causing any disturbance/loud noise that affects a neighbor or neighborhood.
  • Keep wet towels, cloths, ski gear, etc. off wood floor, as it causes damage. Wipe up all water immediately off floor.
  • Do not reset, change, modify, or edit usernames & passwords in any WIFI or internet enabled device or app on the property. Doing so will cost you $165.00 service call for the first 30 minutes and $165.00 per hour after that to fix/restore it.
  • TVs are smart TVs. We have added Spectrum TV, Netflix, Prime TV, Plex, and other apps for your viewing needs. DO NOT CHANGE PASSWORDS, add, or delete any accounts. If you do, item above will apply.
  • If you use the BBQ or Blackstone, you need to clean it. If you do not know how to clean the Blackstone, watch a YouTube video. Failure to properly clean the Blackstone will incur a $50.00 cleaning fee.
  • Adults and children: this is a mountain property. Adults need to be aware and children properly supervised. There are potential hazards such as cliffs, wildlife, and other risks. Duke Investments LLC, its shareholders, or employees cannot be held liable for these acts. You agree you are responsible for yourself and any person or child with you on any property owned by Duke Investments. All disputes shall be handled in the state and county the STR resides in. You agree you will be held liable for all expenses incurred by Duke Investments, its shareholders, and employees including but not limited to legal fees, court costs, and damages.
  • As the Lessee, you are responsible for everyone who enters the property/house and any damage they may cause.

Video Surveillance and Security

  • The entire outside of the property uses video surveillance. Disabling any surveillance device on the property is a ZERO tolerance rule and will be strictly enforced.
  • All video will be supplied to Law Enforcement upon request with or without a subpoena. Duke Investments is pro Law Enforcement and will aid in any and all requests from Law Enforcement including supplying them with all rental records with or without a subpoena.

Guest Responsibilities

  • As the Lessee, you are responsible for everyone who enters the property/house and any damage they may cause.
